Honey BaneHoney Bane (born Donna Tracy Boylan, 1964) is an English singer and actress who rose to prominence as a rebellious figure in the late-1970s punk and 1980s new wave scenes. She began her career at just 14 fronting the punk band The Fatal Microbes, gaining music press attention with the single “Violence Grows.”
Following a highly publicised stint in a juvenile detention centre, she collaborated on the run with anarcho-punk icons Crass. Managed by Jimmy Pursey of Sham 69, she signed to EMI and scored a 1981 new wave hit with “Turn Me On Turn Me Off.” She later expanded into acting, famously starring in the 1982 film Scrubbers.
