S’ExpressS’Express was a pioneering British acid house group formed in London in 1988 by DJ and producer Mark Moore. As one of the earliest electronic acts to bridge the gap between underground club culture and commercial pop music, the group became a defining force of the late-1980s dance scene.

They skyrocketed to immediate fame with their debut single, “Theme from S’Express,” which topped the UK Singles Chart and became a massive international hit. Celebrated for its revolutionary use of sampling and vibrant, flamboyant style, the group followed up with hits like “Superfly Guy” before Moore transitioned back to DJing.
