David Bowie – Absolute Beginners

Released in 1986, “Absolute Beginners” was David Bowie’s theme song for Julien Temple’s film of the same name, set against the vibrant world of late-1950s London. Written and performed by Bowie, the song was produced with Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley and featured an impressive group of musicians, including guitarist Kevin Armstrong, bassist Matthew Seligman, drummer Neil Conti and keyboard player Rick Wakeman.
