THE EIGHTIES ARCHIVE – NEW RELEASE
New album released on 29th May 2026 on BLAIRHILL RECORDS.
Scottish pop icons Pat and Greg Kane are officially back with Everybody, their highly anticipated 16th studio album. Set for release on Friday 29 May 2026 via Blairhill Records, the album marks a bold, future-facing chapter for the duo. It seamlessly merges out-and-out electropop with powerful Latin House and Future Disco.
Written primarily between 2018 and 2020 during an emotionally turbulent pre-pandemic period, the album was intentionally held back until the world could dance again. Co-mixed alongside acclaimed producer Yoad Nevo (Sia, Pet Shop Boys), the record positions active love as a defiant counterforce against modern polarization and technological overreach.
Everybody is an artistic evolution born from a wall of 20 synthesisers. Rather than forcing traditional acoustic arrangements, the Kane brothers immersed themselves in modern music tech—relying on DeepMind arpeggiators, hydrasynths, and classic drum machines to guide their songwriting. Greg Kane’s glittering electronic soundscapes form a perfect launchpad for Pat Kane’s urgent, unmistakable vocal style. It is a chaotic, beautiful blend of analogue soul and digital precision.
