Japan – European Son

Released in 1982, “European Son” was the second single from Japan’s fifth and final studio album, Tin Drum. Written by David Sylvian and produced by Simon Napier-Bell, the song showcased the band’s distinctive blend of art rock, synth-pop and electronic experimentation. It peaked at No. 31 in the UK Singles Chart on 6th February 1982.
