The J. Geils Band – Freeze-Frame

Released in 1982, “Freeze-Frame” was the title track and second major single from The J. Geils Band’s hugely successful album Freeze-Frame. Written by Seth Justman and Peter Wolf, and produced by Seth Justman, the song captured the band’s successful transition from blues-based rock to a more contemporary blend of pop, rock and new wave. Its energetic rhythm, catchy hooks and polished production helped make it one of the group’s best-known recordings during the early 1980s.
